The 5K is entirely on paved trails, while the 10K and half marathon are about 50% paved trails and 50% fire trails.
The 5K and 10K will essentially be out and back courses, while the half marathon will basically be a loop.
All courses include rolling hills that are mostly runnable.
COURSE MAPS AND ELEVATION CHARTS
Aid Station #2
10K and half marathon participants must reach Aid Station #2 (mile 3.28 for 10K, 4.34 for half marathon) by 10:10 am. For 10K runners, that is 1 hour and 45 minutes, which allows for a 29-minute mile pace. For half marathoners, that is 2 hours and 10 minutes, meaning nearly 30-minute mile pace for those starting at 8:00.
Aid Station #3
Half marathon runners must reach Aid Station #3 (mile 8.98) by 11:00 am. For participants starting at 8:00, this allows for 20-minute mile pace. For hikers starting at 7, this allows for 26:43 pace.
If you come into the aid station after these times, we will ask you to please accept a ride back to the finish area.
All participants can receive a copy of their appropriate course map on race day.
As with all of our races, aid stations will be fully stocked with water, sports drink, gels, pretzels, candy, etc.
The 5K will have 1 aid station, the 10K will have 3 aid stations, the half marathon will have 4 aid stations.
Runners who may need more water, should carry their own water bottle.
