The day is coming when we will all be reunited, running in the sun (or rain), but that day won’t be in February of 2021, so we are continuing on with our virtual events to keep spirits up, to keep people moving and to keep Brazen Racing ready!

On the plus side, this means you can run outside, inside, row a machine, row a boat, cycle or do whatever activity keeps you strong during the lockdown.

Registration is available for both the Bay Breeze and Victory events.

The Bay Breeze is our Valentine’s Day race that runs along the San Francisco Bay shoreline.

This year it is a virtual event, but during “normal” times the participants start at the San Leandro Marina Park and half marathon runners make it almost all the way to the Dumbarton bridge before returning.

The Victory Races are located near the Richmond Marina, at the historic Ford Building. This is where Rosie the Riveter (and all the Rosies) and so many more worked hard to ensure we would win World War II, including building the “Victory” ships built to replace the cargo ships to replace those being destroyed by German submarines.

This year is all virtual, but the Victory races traditionally run along the San Pablo Bay shoreline from the the Ford Building in Richmond though to Albany (for the half marathon) and back.

Starting on 2/14/2021, participants can get their miles done and start reporting them. Reporting of results will remain open until 3/7/2021.

The parks where we usually hold these events at are currently scheduled to be open to the public (during regular hours) and you can run at those or any location you choose, including on your treadmill. You can even jump on the stationary bike, rowing machine or do whatever you like to do.

Once you are done, you will go to the results link and enter in your distance and time. Like all our virtual races, the these events are non-competitive, but posting your results makes it official.

Ready to share the joy? Post up a picture and/or your run with #baybreeze and #brazenvictory!

In a short time after the event, you will receive both your shirt and your medal in the mail.

Have viruses, fires, smoke, stay-at-home orders or something else caused you to find alternative means for exercising during the Great Lockdown? Are you into cycling, rowing, stand-up paddle boarding or something else? No problem. If you are covering miles, just report those. If you are doing something else that doesn’t cover easily measured distance, we trust you to translate that into your best mileage approximation!

It is 100% optional, but if you would like to share your pictures of runs, see how other are doing, where they are running or just enjoy the company of other Brazen Racing runners, head over to the Be Bold Be Brazen Facebook page.

MY RUNNING VALENTINE IT’S A VIRTUAL BREEZE (AND VICTORY) The day is coming when we will all be reunited, running in the sun (or rain), but that day won’t be in February of 2021, so we are continuing on with our virtual events to keep spirits up, to keep people moving and to keep Brazen…

["post-76","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry

      Register Today
