Starting at the historic Craneway Pavilion, all distances will run out along the San Francisco Bay Trail with breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, and Mt. Walkers/hikers and runners of all levels are welcome!

All races will be professionally chip timed.

Discover more about the Victory Ships and the history of the Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant.

For half marathon participants who wish to hike the course and take more than 4.5 hours, we will offer a “Hiker Division” start at 7:30 am. Those starting at 7:30 should carry water as the first and second aid stations might not be 100% up and running, depending on the hikers speed. Hiker starts will not be eligible to win the race or for age group awards, but will be listed as official finishers in the Hiker Division and will still receive finisher medals.

All three courses are out and back along the shoreline. Races begin at the Craneway Pavilion running south around the Richmond Marina Bay, onto the San Francisco Bay Trail, turning around to finish back at the Craneway Pavilion.

All courses are on either paved or gravel trails.

As with all of our races, aid stations will be fully stocked with water, sports drink, gels, pretzels, candy, etc.

Aid Stations on course:

5K: 1 Aid station locations are shown on maps above.
